Prof. Martín Carbajo Núñez, OFM, has served on the Research Committee for several annual editions (2019, 2020, 2023, 2024, 2025) of the International Symposium on the Family, organized by the University of Warmia–Masuria (www.uwm.edu.pl) in Olsztyn (Poland). The purpose of the symposium is to bring together specialists from various academic fields in order to identify an integrated research platform in the area of family studies.
Prof. Carbajo Núñez is also a member of the scientific committee preparing the international conference “Francis, Rebuild My Church! Theology at the Service of the Church – Yesterday and Today.” The event, organized by the Pontifical University Antonianum (PUA) and the University of Warmia–Masuria in Olsztyn (Poland), in collaboration with the Society of Dogmatic Theologians of Poland, will take place at the PUA (Via Merulana 124, Rome) from April 28 to 29, 2026.
Since 2024, Prof. Carbajo has also been part of the committee responsible for developing the "Doctorate in Education in Catholic Social Thought in Practice" (EdD), a joint initiative of the Franciscan School of Theology (FST) and the School of Leadership and Educational Sciences (SOLES) at the University of San Diego. He collaborates with Keith Warner (FST) and Wendell Callahan (SOLES). Previously, in 2022, Prof. Carbajo contributed to the design of two modules for the course MTS-550, “Intercultural Theology: Unity, Diversity, and Change Today.” The course is part of the Master of Theological Studies program offered by FST at the University of San Diego (California, USA).
Prof. Carbajo has been part, since 2015, of the forum of Christian economic thought that brings together specialists in this field in Spain.
For more than 14 years, Professor Carbajo has actively contributed to the preparation and organization of the annual congresses promoted by ISTE for the training of clergy in the dioceses of Algarve, Beja, Évora, and Setúbal. Thanks to his efforts, a number of prominent speakers attended our meetings. Among the most recent are: Marciano Vidal (2012), Lluis Oviedo (2013), P.
