Summary: In this essay iI have shown the novelty of Christ's priesthood, its unicity and exclusivity. The first is founded in his divine nature (cfr Heb 1,3a), the second in the extraordinary fact that he is the mediator of creation (cfr Heb 1,2c 10-12) and the actual sustainer of all being (cfr Heb 1,3b).
